According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia in the II quarter of 2015 “Batumi Tower” is one of the top ten companies attracting the largest foreign investments.
During the first 6 months of 2015, the investments in Georgia amounted up to 530 million dollars, the highest figure since 2008. In the second quarter of 2015 Georgia attracted 354 million 700 thousand dollars of foreign investments, which is almost 82% higher than the same figure for 2014 and the highest figure since 2008. Sector with the largest share of foreign direct investment in Georgia is transport and communication, where about 207.4 million was invested, 58.5% of the total investment amount. Followed by the financial sector – 41.4 million (11.7% of total investments), the processing industry – 29.5 million US dollars (8.3% of total investments), real estate – 19.6 million (5.5% of total investments).
